The blue whale game is an unofficial online game. It was created in Russia in 2013 by Philipp Budeikin.

You can play through a social network called Vkontakte using hashtags. The game is about taking 50 challenges. Each of them is worse than the previous one. For example, slit the arm, throw yourself from your house, kill your parents and commit suicide.

When you complete a challenge you have to pass the photo, so the others can believe you. One of the challenges is to draw a blue whale on your arm with a knife. The last challenge is committing suicide.

Those who play it are crazy.
