                                     Biography of Shrek

Shrek is an 2001 American computer animated fantasy film loosely based on William Steig's 1990 fairy tale picture book.

Shrek is a fictional ogre character. Shrek is derived from the German word Shreck, meaning "fright" or "terror". Shrek is voiced by Mike Myers. In May 21st 2010 Shrek received a star on the Hollywood walk of the fame in Los Angeles . In June 2010, Entertainment weeky named him one of the "100 Greatest Characters of the last 20 years" placing 15th.

Shrek is large, green and physically intimidating. It´s an ogre with Scottish accent. His wife is the princess Fiona and his children are: Fergus, Farkel and Felicia. In his old days he scared people and he lived in his swamp. 

Shrek is accompanied by Donkey, an excitable, hyperactive and talking donkey and  by a noble sword-man, the cat with boots.
