 Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born in 22nd July 1992 in U.S.A. Selena is a songwriter, actress, fashion designer, philanthropist and singer. She started singing at the age of seven. Selena's voice is Mezzo soprano. She sings pop. Selena sings, but doesn´t play instruments. 

Selena began singing and acting in 2002. She worked with two record companies, one of them is Hollywood records in the years 2008-2014 and the other one is Interescope records in this year. 

She appeared in different TV series such as Barney and friend she participated in it until 2004. After that, she made small appearances in movies and TV series like Spy kids 3-D in 2003, Texas ranger in 2005 and Brain Zapped in 2006. Since year 2006 she´s  walking series on Disney Channel for example: The suit life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana.
